Pangarap Na Nalipasan (A Faded Dream)

Posted on

Doodling one bored night…

When I'm despirited, I write poetry to find hope... Pangarap Na Nalipasan

Pangarap ko’y parang pagkain na Nalipasan
Ng Init, ng  sarap at ng anghang
Lumabnaw, nawala ang tamis
Lumamig, Inayawan hindi na tinikman

May oras pa naman para lutuing muli
siguro’y inakalang mapakla at walang tamis
Pangarap matitikman basta lutuing muli
ang lasa ng pag-asa at tunay na minimithi.

I put an inspirational quote in the frontpage of every notebook I have.

"A wiseman will make more opportunities than he finds..."

When Love is Not Appreciated

Posted on

It’s not the worst thing that will happen to you. But, it will hurt…

They say,  money is the root of all evil. I disagree.
The root of all evil, is the lack of love, or the absence of it.

So, if in case, you love somebody and it’s not equivocally returned or your expectation that it will be reciprocated didn’t happen, don’t despair as it is not wasted. For your information, you just lessened the chances of evil to conquer your life. You’re capable of loving and that’s good news. Not all people readily give love, much more letting the other person feel it.

Believe it or not, there are people who don’t love or are stingy in giving love. Yes, they are self-centered and selfish so it’s a good thing you know you can give love. Don’t focus on how it can be reciprocated as it might transform into frustration, disappointment, bitterness and anger. It might consume the good energy in you.

Just look at the children when they smile. They don’t ask you to smile back. But, when you feel the warmth and sincerity, you can’t help but…smile in return right?

So, when the next time that you feel that your love is not appreciated, don’t waste your time feeling sad or bitter about it.

It’s not you.

Does It Matter?

I posted the following at my facebook shoutout:

Every single person is different. Deal with it. Or, decay. Yes, i’m talking to you.”

And, a friend just replied: “d nga? lasing k naman ata eh” (really? Are you drunk?)

I shrugged and responded, does it matter?

When you are an adult, sometimes, people thought you are drunk when you are just being honest.

But, even when I’m drunk when I posted it, does it matter?
Not at all. Mainly because, I’m not talking to him.
